Kipstadium

Tourcoing, Roubaix and Wattrelos northeast of Lille, France

Kipstadium has been built on the ruins of a disused industrial site, former location of the Grande Brasserie Moderne (GBM), later become Brasserie Terken (a famous brewery founded in 1920 and closed in 2004), then transformed into a bus deposit of the Transpole Union. Desirous of respecting and preserving this heritage, Kipsta has maintained, renovated and refurbished the old factory buildings to keep a strong connection to the past while protecting the historical and cultural significance of the place.
