Zelenograd Center for Culture and Leisure

Moscow, Russian Federation

The development of the required lighting concept, inspired by the outdoor architectural lighting of the Royal National Theatre in London, was entrusted to the company Bardakhanova Champkins Architects. With its grey, massive concrete structure dating back to the late 80's, this building looks architecturally old-fashioned, fragmented in its shapes and volumes arranged on different levels. A professional lighting system had to able to completely change its essence transforming it into a suggestive structure linked to its cultural scope by a new artistic illumination.
